An independent comparison desk, not a shopfront

Jackpot Foundry started from a fairly simple annoyance: most "best UK casino" pages read like they were written before anyone actually opened the sites they're ranking. We wanted something closer to a proper comparison — operators judged on the studios behind their games, whether live casino is even on offer, how the apps hold up, and what support looks like when you need it.

We are not a gambling operator. We don't run games, hold player funds, or have any say in outcomes at any of the sites we cover. Every operator listed on this site holds its own UK Gambling Commission licence and is responsible for its own games, terms and payouts — Jackpot Foundry's role stops at comparing what's publicly available and writing down what we find.

How we're funded

This site runs on affiliate commissions. When you follow a link to an operator and go on to sign up, we may be paid a fee by that operator. It costs you nothing extra, and it's a standard arrangement across the comparison industry — but we think it's worth being upfront about, so it's spelled out in full on our affiliate disclosure page. Commission doesn't buy a better score: the scorecards on our homepage are built from the same eight criteria for every operator, regardless of what that operator pays us.

What we actually do

Each operator on this site is checked against its licence status on the Gambling Commission's public register, its own published terms, its app store listing, and a hands-on look at the site itself. We update the comparison periodically rather than running a live feed, so treat the "last updated" date on the homepage as the point our notes were current to — offers and libraries do change, and the operator's own site is always the final word on its current terms.

What we don't do

We don't invent statistics, quote fake reviews, or promise outcomes. We don't frame any offer as risk-free or guaranteed, because no gambling product is either of those things. And we don't take payment in exchange for a specific score — an operator that pays us a higher commission doesn't get a better write-up because of it.
